Be Involved!

Many SEIU District 1199W/UP members will help secure a new contract with the State of Wisconsin that rewards work and gives Wisconsinites the quality health care services they expect. What follows are opportunities to get involved.

Attend the May 10th SEIU District 1199W/UP Leadership Conference. Click here for a printable flyer that includes additional information. To download an agenda and registration form, Click here. If you think you'd like to attend, ask a co-worker to ride with you and let us know you'll be there.

Talk with co-workers about someone from your work area serving on the union bargaining committee. Discuss together what you think would make your job better and improve the services you provide. Make sure that nomination papers are forwarded to the elections committee in a timely manner.

Complete pre-bargaining surveys and encourage others to do so as well.
